The third week of April is National Pet ID Week! It's all about spreading awareness to get your kitty microchipped in case they ever get lost. A custom collar tag with your phone number is also helpful to have your loved ones returned in case they ever find themselves lost.
Every year in the US, around 10 million cats & dogs end up getting lost with around 6 to 8 million of them ending up in pet shelters. Only 2 percent of these lost cats without any identification are able to be reunited with their humans. Those that are microchipped are 21.4 times more likely to be returned back to their humans.
