A little tabby met Pumpkii for the first time while lying on the floor.
The small robot rolled closer. The kitten tilted its head and reached out a paw. Pumpkii gently turned in place.
Then a red laser dot appeared.
The kitten froze, then pounced—chasing the darting light across the room, more excited with every move.
Pumpkii rolled along, keeping it company.
Tired at last, the kitten lay beside it and gave it a soft tap.
Maybe this little moving light wasn’t so strange after all.
